Continuing Professional Development

The Australian Dental Association Queensland Branch (ADAQ) is regarded as the recognised voice of dentistry in Queensland. With around 90% of registered dentists and dental specialists across the private and public sectors as voluntary members, the Association provides a most effective representative body.

ADAQ strives to promote the art and science of dentistry, to represent the profession and to provide services which encourage the highest level of oral health in the community.

ADAQ is a Registered Training Organisation and conducts training as a service to its members.

The Annual ADAQ three day Convention for dental professionals is Dentistry Under the Sun which provides practioners and staff with up-to-date information on a variety of topics.

Annual Clinic Day in December each year also boasts a wide range of informational topics for all members of the dental team.

ADAQ operates a voluntary Continuing Professional Development points system (CPD). For more information please Contact Us.

ADAQ's well established and professional Registered Training Organisation (RTO) offers quality and affordable training for staff. Nationally accredited, employees from dental practices all over Australia graduate each year in Certificate III in Dental Assisting and Certificate IV in Dental Assisting (Dental Radiography).  (See Events tab above for more information).

The Certificate IV in Professional Practice Management and the Diploma of Professional Practice Management are also offered in conjunction with UNE Partnerships.  More information available here
