Dr Anthony Lynham

After completing Dental and Medical degreees Dr Lynham moved to Maxillofacial training here in Queensland predominantly working at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.  A post surgical fellowship was completed in Switzerland in addition to a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.  His main appointment was again to the Royal Brisbane Hospital where he was a member of the hospitals trauma team.
His area of interest was orbital surgery and facial trauma.  Because of an unprecedented rise in this trauma caused by extended alcohol trading hours he led a successful push for reversion of these hours.
This necessitated a move to politics in 2014. Since early 2015 he has been a minister in the Palaszczuk Government.  He still remains active in surgery volunteering for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait community and also in PNG.  He still continues to enjoy research and teaching, juggling this with a busy ministerial career.

Dr Edward Hsu

Dr Hsu then completed additional surgical fellowship training in one of the busiest tertiary referral hospitals in London, UK.
