Containing Catastophe: Risk Management in Oral Surgery for the general practitioner - A surgeon's perspective

This free study club event is open to fifth year students and recently graduated Dentists. ADAQ understands the challenges faced by young professionals and this session will present practical clinical information from OMF Dr Jacob De Looze.

New techniques, technologies and changing economics in the dental marketplace are pressuring general dentists to undertake an ever wider scope of practice and procedures. The aim of this lecture is to provide a surgeon’s eye view of the scope of in chair oral surgery, demonstrate the pitfalls for new graduates and young dentists and give the audience a chance to learn from the experiences of a maxillofacial surgeon.
