Dr Rob Hazlewood

 
Dr Rob Hazlewood BDSc (Hon.) MDSc (Endo) FRACDS MRACDS (Endo)

Dr Hazlewood has been working as a specialist endodontist since 1998.

Rob graduated as a general dentist in 1982, receiving a BDSc (Hon) degree from the University of Queensland.  He returned to receive his MDSc (Endodontics) from the same institution in 1998.

After graduation Rob spent 15 years as a Dental Officer with the Australian Army, during which time he obtained a Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. He continues to support the Australian Army as a Lieutenant Colonel Consultant.
Rob has worked at Endodontics Only since 2003.

He has served as president of the Australian Society of Endodontology and has provided clinical mentoring and lectures for dental students at the University of Queensland.

 

Dr Jeff Hislop

 
Dr Jeff Hislop BDSc MDSc FRACDS

Dr Hislop graduated from the University of Queensland in 1983. After graduating he worked at the Brisbane Dental Hospital, where he developed his interest in the endodontics branch of dentistry.

Subsequently, Jeff received a Master’s Degree, as well as a Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, and began giving lectures at the Griffith University Dental School.

Jeff continues to teach at both Queensland and Griffith Universities, and has been appointed to the Clinical Accreditation Board at Griffith University.

 

Dr Bill Kahler

 
Dr Bill Kahler BDSc FRACDS MScDent DClinDent PhD MRACDS (Endo) FICD

Dr Kahler graduated from the University of Queensland dental school in 1983.

He practised in private care all around Australia for a number of years before training for a clinical doctorate in Endodontics.

Bill has received a number of Fellowships from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the International College of Dentists.

He has taught at the University of Adelaide and the University of Queensland, where he acted as Director of the Post-Graduate Programme.

In addition to his private practice, Bill works at a specialist paediatric government clinic as an Endodontic Consultant.

Bill has an active interest in Endodontic research, publishing clinical research and case reports in dentistry, material science and engineering journals. He teaches and lectures locally and internationally, and acts as a reviewer for a number of leading dental journals.

 

Dr Andrew Thomson

 
Dr Andrew Thomson BDSc (Hon.) DClinDent FRACDS

Dr Thomson graduated from the University of Queensland in 2000.

Andrew earned his Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Queensland, specialising in Endodontics, and began working as a specialist Endodontist in Canberra and Brisbane.

Andrew has a strong interest in teaching where he was the Discipline Lead and Senior Lecturer of Endodontics at the University of Queensland School of Dentistry from 2011 to 2013. He is also involved in running hands on continuing education seminars.

Andrew’s keenest interest is in new materials and equipment, which has driven him to publish articles and research about new and novel endodontic materials.
