Paul is currently CEO of Triaction Holdings Pty Ltd, a mobile IT consulting practice. Prior to this he was MBA Director and a Senior Lecturer in Griffith Business School and a Senior Lecturer at UQ Business School. He taught Business Intelligence in the MBA and IT Audit and Control at UQ. He has a BSc and PhD from University of Queensland and a Master of Administration from Griffith University.  His research focuses on mobile tourism technology, sustainable ICT and agile development. He has 15 years university teaching experience.

Paul has over 35 years experience in IT management and education.  He was CIO of QTTC and the Department of Industry Development, and Applications Development Manager for TAB before moving to academia. 

He was a member of the Board of the Australian Computer Society nearly 20 years and has held the position of Vice-Chair for 8 years. He was a member of the Professional Standards Board and the Disciplinary Committee.

Paul is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and a member of the AIM Academic Board.
