Prof Paul Monsour

 Professor Paul Monsour graduated from the University of Queensland in 1978 with a BDSc (hons). He completed a PhD in Oral Biology in 1987 and a Masters degree in Oral Radiology & Pathology in 1991. Professor Monsour was the first registered specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial radiology working in full time private medical radiology practice in Australia. Professor Monsour lectures extensively throughout Australia on all aspects of DMF radiology. Appointed the Foundation Professor of DMFR at the University of Queensland in 2009. Paul is an associate member of the RANZCR and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.  

Dr Louise Brown

 Dr Louise Brown graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1983, and worked in general practice before completing her MDSc in Periodontics in 1987. She also trained in Dental Public Health, completing an MPH degree at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and she was awarded a PhD from the University of Adelaide in 1993. She returned to Melbourne in 1993 where she combined an academic career with private practice as a specialist periodontist, eventually focusing on the private practice clinical side of her career. In 2012, she sold her specialist practice and is now once again a student – this time at UQ undertaking a DCD in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology.
