Date Posted: 12/1/2001

Question
Sedation type 3. - General Anaesthetic

Answer
The 'ultimate' technique for the phobic patient is for the patient to be completely anaesthetised by an anaesthetist. Some surgeries offer this technique 'in house' or at their local hospital / day surgery.
