The Oral Health Alliance is standing behind Premier Anna Bligh's decision to fluoridate Queensland's water supply, saying fears about fluoride are unfounded.

The announced $50 million funding commitment by both major parties towards a new James Cook University tropical dental school based at Cairns has received endorsement from the Australian Dental Association Queensland Branch.
