A/Prof Alex Moule


Associate Professor Alex Moule has over 20 years' experience in endodontic practice. A past president of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists, Dr Moule has been a member of the Australian Society of Endodontology for over 35 years. 
Alex taught dentistry both internationally and in Australia before moving into private endodontic practice. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy degree in 1979. He holds an Adjunct Associate Professorship at the University of Queensland and is still active in dental research. He was the founder and coordinator of the Brisbane Endodontic Research Group, foundation chairman of the Australian Society of Endodontology Research Grants committee and is chairman of Australian Society of Endodontology Teachers Committee. He has supervised numerous research theses at a number of universities and has over 40 research publications.
Alex has been awarded several International Fellowships including the International College of Dentists, the Academy of Dentistry International and the Pierre Fauchard Society. He is also a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Australia and a Member of Queensland Government Dentists Panel of Assessors. He has a particular interest in Dental Trauma and is currently a Director of the International Association of Dental Traumatology.
