Dr Alex Chaudhuri MBBS, FRACP

Dr Alex Chaudhuri practices infectious diseases out of a passion for clinical medicine and problem-solving across varied specialties. He is a staff specialist at The Prince Charles Hospital after having trained at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, The Prince Charles Hospital and the Pasteur Institute Paris. He is currently pursuing training in clinical research through the Harvard Medical School. Also involved in private practice at Greenslopes Private Hospital, Dr. Chaudhuri provides a general ID service and is patient-focused. His interests include infections in the immunocompromised, prosthetic joint infections and diagnostic conundrums. His enthusiasm for the latter lead to him diagnosing and publishing the first case of tick-born encephalitis in Australia.
