| The Australian Dental Association (Queensland Branch) is recognised in Queensland as the voice of dentistry. With around 90% of registered dentists and dental specialists across the private and public sectors as members, the Association provides a most effective representative body. ADAQ strives to promote the art and science of dentistry, to represent the profession and to promote the highest level of oral health in the community. |

| Dentistry under the Sun for 2008 will be held at the Brisbane Convention Centre from 2-5 October. With over 300 delegates expected, the Convention's professional development program will focus on dentistry for the general practitioner, incorporating plenary and special sessions by international, national and local speakers to cater for all members of the dental team. Keynote speakers will include Dr Kari Pihlman from Finland. |

| Dentistry under the Sun strives to provide delegates with the latest information on a variety of topical dental subjects valuable for the entire dental team. It also aims to provide opportunities for networking with peers and other professionals in the field of dentistry. The goal is a high quality professional program supported by a full social program, in an environment where delegates can bring their partners and family members. |
